Energydor Expands Internationally: Energy Verification Beyond the UK

Energydor was originally developed to help UK households independently verify their electricity and gas bills using real meter readings.

Following growing interest from users abroad, we have now launched region-specific versions of the energy verification software for:

• Australia – EnergydorAU
• New Zealand – EnergydorNZ
• Ireland – EnergyCheck

Why Launch Separate Regional Versions?

Energy markets differ significantly between countries. Tariff structures, tax rules, unit measurements, standing charges, and billing formats are not universal.

A one-size-fits-all calculator would not deliver accurate verification. Each region requires:

• Localised tariff logic
• Country-specific tax handling (VAT, GST, etc.)
• Correct currency formatting
• Relevant regulatory context

By developing dedicated versions for each country, we ensure calculations reflect real-world billing structures.
