EnergydorAU is currently designed for fixed-rate energy plans only and does not support variable or time-of-use tariffs. This is intentional, as fixed plans provide the most consistent and reliable basis for accurate, independent tracking of your energy costs.

Step 2 - Log Your Meter Reads. See Your Real Energy Use.

Each month — ideally just before your bill is issued — take a manual reading from your electricity and gas meters and enter it into EnergydorAU.

Even with a smart meter, always check the physical display to avoid glitches or missing data. This ensures you're working with real, verifiable numbers.

EnergydorAU uses your manual meter readings to calculate your true energy costs — not vague estimates or assumptions. With an accuracy rate of 99.75%, it gives you near-perfect insight into what you’re actually using and what you should be paying. If you're being overcharged, you’ll know — and you'll have the proof to challenge it.

Step 3 - Assign Timestamped Photos to Each Reading

We recommend when you log a meter read to use Energydor’s Photo Meter Logging feature. It lets you snap and store timestamped images alongside each meter reading, creating a verifiable record of your energy usage. This ensures every reading is backed by proof, protecting you from billing disputes.
